Eva Cruz Rojas and Mauro Huerta Dávila have 6 children. They lost their house in the earthquake of September 19, since that date they have been living in a tent. They keep some of their belongings in what was left of their room sized house, which had only one bed for the 8 of them. There are days that they have to re-enter the torn down building to protect themselves from the rain that seeps through the tent; with the danger that this represents it continues to tremble in San Miguel and the walls of the small building can collapse at any time.

Eva is from a community called San Jerónimo in the municipality of Coyula, Puebla; and there she met Mauro when he went to work in a Jaripeo. They married at 18, where they lived on the communal land belonging to Doña Juventina, the mother of Mauro; this land is divided between her 6 children, however it is very small. The space that was left to each one is not enough to build a house with the characteristics that Los Angeles in Mexico makes them and in accordance to the needs of this family; we have decided to relocate them and thus make the donation of the land and the construction of their home.

Neither of them has a fixed income, they are dedicated to the sale of seeds, chocolate and amaranth cakes, which they buy and resell. They usually leave on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to Huastepec in Morelos while Ana Rosa, the oldest daughter of only 12 years old, is in charge of her younger siblings; Ernestina of 10, Ambrosio of 9, Miguel of 7, Luis Ángel of 5 and David of 2; she takes care and feeds them while their parents go to sell.

A few months ago Mauro suffered an accident in the Jaripeo, Eva did not want to him return to work, but he insisted because they needed the money. He was admitted to the hospital in Agua Santa, Puebla where he remained in a coma for a month and a half, the doctors did not give him any hope of life, however he came back, although his recovery has been slow. Even now he has to continue with a lot of care and is still unable to go out to work because he cannot walk great distances, for now Eva is going alone to make the sales of the products.

Eva Cruz Rojas y Mauro Huerta Dávila tienen 6 hijos, y perdieron su casa en el terremoto del 19 de septiembre, desde esa fecha están viviendo en una carpa, y guardan algunas de sus pertenencias aún en lo que quedó del cuarto que tenían como casa, donde con solo una cama vivían las 8 personas. Hay días que tienen que volver a entrar a la construcción para resguardarse de la lluvia que se cuela por la carpa, con todo y el peligro que esto representa pues sigue temblando en San Miguel y los muros de la pequeña construcción pueden colapsar en cualquier momento.

Eva es de una comunidad llamada San Jerónimo en el municipio de Coyula, Puebla; y allí conoció a Mauro cuando él fue a trabajar en un jaripeo. Se casaron a los 18 años, viven en un terreno comunal que pertenece a doña Juventina, mamá de Mauro, este terreno ella lo dividió entre sus 6 hijos, sin embargo es muy pequeño por lo que el espacio que le quedó a cada uno no es suficiente para construir una casa con las características que Los Ángeles en México las realiza y de acuerdo a las necesidades de esta familia, por lo que hemos decidido reubicarlos y realizar así la donación del terreno y la construcción de su casa.

Ninguno de los dos cuenta con un ingreso fijo, se dedican a la venta de la semilla, chocolate y alegrías, las cuales compran y revenden. Por lo general se van los dos viernes, sábado y domingo a Huastepec en Morelos y mientras Ana Rosa, la hija mayor de solo 12 años está a cargo de sus hermanitos; Ernestina de 10, Ambrosio de 9, Miguel de 7, Luis Ángel de 5 y David de 2; ella los cuida y les hace de comer mientras sus papás van a vender.

Hace unos pocos meses Mauro sufrió un accidente en el Jaripeo, Eva ya no quería que volviera a trabajar en eso, pero él insistió pues necesitaban el dinero y sufrió la cornada de un toro, estuvo ingresado en el hospital de Agua Santa, Puebla donde permaneció en estado de coma por mes y medio, ya no le daban esperanzas de vida los doctores, sin embargo salió adelante, aunque la recuperación ha sido lenta, hasta ahora tiene que seguir con muchos cuidados y aún no puede salir a trabajar pues no puede caminar grandes distancias, así que por ahora Eva va sola a hacer las ventas de sus productos.
