Claudia Pinto considers herself a “Missionary at Heart”. Her desire to help others developed during her childhood, when she had the opportunity to collaborate with missionaries of her parish. She would go to the outskirts of the city to ask for food donations for children in need.

Later, during her upbringing in the United States, she carried out community projects, either independently or with various eclectic groups in the LA area.

“When they call for help, I go”. This is how Claudia describes her altruistic work; it can be as simple as helping immigrants with legal paperwork or nurturing and supporting the homeless. Any need represents a motivation for her to help.

Her entrepreneurial and visionary spirit led her to make a successful business career over more than a decade in various business areas, but eventually found that true success is reflected in supplying and satisfying the needs of others. She believes that progress and shared abundance pays off most promises and achievement for any entrepreneur.

That is how her initial biculturalism (born in Chile and based in the United States for almost 30 years) over time turned into multiculturalism that is reflected in each of her altruistic purposes in various parts of the world. In 1997 she traveled to Nepal to be a part of a missionary team who gave medical assistance and support to children in that country. This year, the great need for Kibera, Kenya received the support and assistance of a missionary medical team where she once more participated

This humanitarian sentiment lives strongly in Claudia Pinto, and has been the main force in the creation of ONE Children’s foundation. ONE remains committed to its mission of helping children all over the world.
